Highfield Boats Announces New Industry-Leading Warranty Program

CANTON, GA – July 16, 2020 – Highfield Boats, the world’s leading manufacturer of aluminum RIBS and tenders, is pleased to announce major warranty extensions for its boats beginning with the 2021 model year, offered to customers who purchase their new Highfield from an authorized dealer and register their warranty online within 60 days of purchase.

“The quality of our aluminum-hulled RIBs is so high and the demand for warranty work on them is so low that we are stepping up our warranty program to be the best in the business,” said Tom Watson, general manager, Highfield Boats USA. “Starting with our 2021 models, Highfield’s PVC tubes are covered for five years and our Hypalon tubes are covered for a full ten years. Unlike many of our competitors in the RIB marketplace, we include the tubes’ seams in our warranty, and the coverage on our Hypalon tubes does not diminish in years six through ten.”

The basic retail limited warranty for Highfield Boats utilized for recreation or as a tender remains the same: The entire vessel is covered against all defects for two years from the date of purchase, and the hull is covered for five years. Any powder-coating on the vessel is warrantied for two years.

The new extended warranty coverage for registered 2021 Highfield Boats includes:

• Coverage on PVC tubes and seams goes from two to five years
• Coverage on Hypalon tubes and seams goes from two to ten

(Wear parts including but not limited to rubbing strake, keel guard, ropes are not covered by the warranty.)
