Highfield takes it on the road with the Dare to Explore Tour
Challenging times call for creative thinking, so when boat shows started being canceled left and right across North America due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Highfield Boats, the world’s leading aluminum-hull RIB builder, decided to bring the boat-show experience to RIB enthusiasts at their local dealership instead. This winter, the international Highfield Dare to Explore Tour is sending a fleet of brand-new Highfield Sport RIBS and many other sleek, stable and seaworthy Highfield models to a dealer near you.
The Dare to Explore Tour is designed to let customers be among the first to see Highfield’s new 2021 RIBs in person, just as they would at a boat show. Your local dealer’s knowledgeable staff will be on hand during the event to provide tours and information about each model. What’s more, customers who attend a Dare to Explore Tour Open House will be eligible for introductory pricing on the new Highfield Sport models.
Taking it on the road
“At this time of year, we are usually displaying our new Highfield RIB boats and tenders at boat shows throughout North America and special offering boat-show pricing. Dare to Explore Tour Open Houses will follow government guidelines for COVID-19 prevention. However, for those customers who prefer to tour the new Highfield RIBs from the comfort of their home, dealers at each Dare to Explore Tour stop also will be offering virtual walk-throughs of the new RIB models on display via Facebook Live, FaceTime, Zoom, Skype, WhatsApp, or other digital media.
Highlighting the new SPORT RIB line
Among the highlights of the Highfield Dare to Explore Tour is new Highfield Sport Collection of next-generation RIBS, which take the brand to a whole new level. With 11 models ranging from 9’10” to 26′, the new Sport Collection is designed to offer boat owners an extensive range of hull sizes and equipment options so they can build the perfect RIB for their needs.
The Highfield Sport Collection RIBS feature a new, Italian-inspired interior design that is sure to turn heads at the marina. High-quality EVA foam faux-teak decking, LED lighting, luxury diamond-stitch upholstery, and electric bilge pumps are standard equipment on all Highfield Sport RIBS. The long list of features and options for the series includes watersports tow posts, bimini tops and sunpads, with sport arches and big swim platforms available on the larger models. Owners can choose from six different color options for their new Highfield Sport RIB.
Also on display on the Dare to Explore Tour will be select models from the popular Highfield Ultralite, Classic and Patrol RIB series. All Highfield RIBS purchased from an authorized dealer, like ones on the Dare to Explore Tour, and are registered by their owners within 60 days of purchase, are covered by Highfield Boats’ industry-leading warranty. The entire vessel is covered against all defects for two years from the date of purchase; the hull, PVC tubes and seams are covered for five years, and Hypalon tubes and seams are covered for ten years.
