The New Highfield Boats SPORT RIB Collection Makes Official Debut at Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – OCT. 28, 2020 – Highfield Boats, the world’s leading manufacturer of aluminum Rigid Inflatable Boats (RIBS) and tenders, is proud to announce the official North American debut the Highfield SPORT RIB Collection at the 2020 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS). The new Highfield SPORT 360, 460 and 560 will be on display at the Highfield Boats USA/Nautical Ventures Booth, Blue Zone Land 1008, from October 28th – November 1st, 2020. Look for Highfield Boats’ innovative new Folding Transom option, which makes Highfield RIBs even easier store onboard, at the booth as well.
Representing the next generation of design and construction technology for Highfield Boats, the new SPORT Collection comprises 11 aluminum-hulled, outboard-powered RIB models ranging from 9’10” to 26′ (3 to 8 meters).They include the SPORT 300, 330, 360, 390, 420, 460, 520, 560, 650, 700, and 800. Designed with Italian-inspired styling and outfitted with a host of upgrade features and materials, these sleek, stable and seaworthy RIBs make ideal tenders for luxury power and sailing yachts. The larger models also serve as versatile day boats launching a host of adventures on the water.
Highfield SPORT 560
The 18’7” Highfield SPORT 560 was designed to be the most capable RIB in its size range on the market today. Its rugged, powder-coat aluminum hull with transom deadrise measuring 24˚ ensures a comfortable ride even in rough conditions. Maximum engine horsepower is 115 hp. Diamond-stitched upholstery and EVA teak throughout give the SP560 a luxurious look and feel. The full sundeck option forward offers a great platform for sunbathing or fishing. Integrated davit lifting eyes and a passenger capacity of 12 make this RIB the ideal tender, but the SP560 also stands alone as a comfortable, capable day boat that supports unlimited family adventures.
Highfield SPORT 460
Powered by a maximum 90-hp outboard, the 15’1” Sport 460 delivers sporty performance combined with the capacity to seat up to nine passengers. With the fuel tank tucked out of the way below the deck, there’s more room to bring gear along as well. High styling and luxury materials make this a tender you can be proud to carry on your yacht. The ergonomic helm console is well situated for excellent sightlines and precise control. Add the forward sundeck and/or optional “roll bar” arch to expand the SP 460’s functionality even further.
Highfield SPORT 360
The 11’11” Sport 360 is designed to be a compact, lightweight, easy-to-store tender. Featuring three lifting points, light weight, and excellent weight distribution, it accommodates up to 6 passengers. Integrated fuel tanks and a sleek helm console help to maximize onboard space. The SPORT series’ new Italian-inspired styling and luxury materials are standard even on this smaller RIB. Maximum outboard power of 60 hp and a deadrise of 20˚ provide a fast, comfortable ride. Desirable options include a large bimini top.

Also on display at the Highfield Boats/Nautical Ventures stand at FLIBS, the new Highfield Folding Transom is now available for its RIBs from 10’ to 11’2”. Engineered to let the transom and outboard fold neatly forward into the cockpit, the Folding Transom makes it easy for owners to store their tender in the onboard “garage” with the engine in place.
